‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom’: Mallika Sherawat replaced by Urmila Matondkar as Judge: Mallika Sherawat was all set to sizzle on the small screen as one of the judges of Colors’ upcoming dance based reality show ‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom’. However, this was a short lived stint of the actress in television.

Now, the latest reports suggest that Mallika has been replaced by another Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar and that has happened because of her constant tantrums on the sets of the show. The channel was finally bound to show her the exit door.

A source from the channel was quoted saying that the tantrums of the actress were increasing day by day. They were shooting two episodes in a day and Sherawat used to turn very cranky. She used to crib about getting very less time for taking lunch. She had objections regarding the working hours also. She used to be in hurry to leave for home always.

The source added that the production team was also getting tough time in handling her. Finally, they convinced Urmila to replace Mallika and she will start shooting for the show from next week. Urmila will be seen judging along with Jaaved Jaaferi and Terance Lewis.

Colors started airing the show from January 14. So from next week, we will see Urmila on the chair of Mallika.

Mallika Sherawat is dancing to a raunchy item song Razia Gundon Mein Phas Gayi with Akshay Kumar and the duo have been bonding well during the shoot, as is apparent from this snap from the sets of the Anees Bazmee-directed film.

Mallika recently posted this image on Twitter and wrote, “havin fun with Akshay Kumar on set:) self-portraited!” The still is a hit among her followers who have showered her with praises. On fan writes: “Two amazing people in industry..Lovely.”

It’s believed that due to this song Mallika has opted out from the TV show Chak Dhoom Dhoom as apparently it was getting too hectic for the actress to work on the show and then shoot this sexy item song as well. Mallika has earlier worked with Akki in the film Welcome and played the love interest of both Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar in the film.

Mallika Sherawat wants to learn folk danc 'lavani': She enjoys typical Bollywood dancing, but now 'Maiyya maiyya' girl Mallika Sherawat is keen to learn lavani, a popular folk dance of Maharashtra.

'I'm not a trained dancer, but I enjoy dancing. My favourite dance is Bollywood dance, but now I want to learn lavani. I'm not getting a teacher, but as soon as I get a good one I'll start my lessons,' Mallika told IANS.

Currently the actress is hosting a dance reality show 'Chak Dhoom Dhoom' on Colors channel.

It's the season of item songs. After 'Munni Badnaam' and 'Sheila Ki Jawani', it is now Mallika Sherawat's turn as she will be seen shaking her body in an item number 'Razia Gundo Mein Phas Gayi' in Anees Bazmee's multi-starrer Thank You.

Joining Mallika in this song would be Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Bobby Deol. The actress even tweeted about this and said, "filmed a song with Akshay Kumar:) love the song title: Razia gundo mein gaye :-) will post some pics later..."

It may be recalled that Mallika had a special appearance in Anees Bazmee's blockbuster Welcome. Hence he could think of no one else but Madam Sherawat for this item song. Whether it will go on to achieve cult status is something only time will tell.

Mallika Sherawat to perform a raunchy item: Thanks to ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ and ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’, items songs are again all the rage in B-Town. Hopping on the bandwagon now is the empress of oomph Mallika Sherawat.

Yes, Mallika is shaking her booty for a raunchy item song in director Anees Bazmee’s next film Thank You. The item song is called ‘Razia Gundo Mein Phas Gayi’ (Razia stuck with the goons) and has been composed by Pritam. The track reportedly has a desi, folksy flavour to appeal to all.

The song will feature Mallika with all the male actors of the film: Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Sunil Shetty.

Apparently, Mallika was game for the item when director Bazmee approached her. Not just that, we hear that Mallika is not charging any fee for the item because she shares a good rapport with Bazmee with whom she worked in Welcome.

Mallika has given five days to shoot the song. The shoot is going on currently.
