Expecting Rajini at Madame Tussauds

Hrithik Roshan is the fifth Bollywood star to have his wax statue at the famous London museum Madame Tussauds. The statue was unveiled on the 20th of January and Hrithik dedicated the honor to his family.

His wife Sussane, two sons, father Rakesh Roshan, mother Pinky and grandfather J Om Prakash were present along with him when the statue was unveiled. Hrithik who is famous for his Greek God looks and acting prowess is next only to stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to have a wax statue at this famous museum.

Kollywood fans are eagerly waiting for the wax replica of Superstar Rajinikanth and Behindwoods.com has been vigorously promoting this request of the fans.

Rajini praises ‘Yudham Sei’

AGS Films, Kalpathi Aghoram is a very happy man as his recent production ‘Mynaa’ has become one of the important films in Tamil and his joy doubled this week end with Super Star Rajinikanth watching and appreciating his next production ‘Yudham Sei’.

Kalpathi Aghoram, who has a personal preview theatre with the latest QUBE facility, recently held a special screening of the yet to be released film ‘Yudham Sei’ for superstar Rajinikanth.

The super star after watching the film, praised the actor Cheran and the director Mysskin for making a wonderful film. Rajini felt the film is too good and would definitely work big time with the audiences.

In ‘Yutham Sei, Cheran plays an intelligence cop and the narrative of the film is said to be a novel one. Y.Gee Mahendran, Jayaprakash and Deepa Shah are the other major cast. Director Ameer will be seen in an item number dancing with Neetu Chandra.

Sources say Y Gee Mahendran is playing a role which he has never done before and it would come as a surprise for the audience. We guess he would have played a heady villain role.

AGS Entertainment is planning to release ‘Yudham Sei’ in February.

Rajini praises Mysskin and Cheran

A special show of Yudham Sei was organized for Rajinikanth and the Superstar was thrilled at the outcome. He heaped lavish praises on the film’s director Mysskin, and actors Cheran and YGee Mahendran for playing their roles to perfection. For the first time in his career Cheran plays a CBI officer and is being appreciated for his performance by all those who have seen the film thus far.

Yudham Sei is a crime thriller with Cheran and Dipa Shah playing the lead roles. The film is directed by Mysskin and produced by Kalpathi Agoram.

Rajini to dub for all 4 versions

Rajinikanth and daughter Soundarya, who is directing him in Hara, are keen on completing the film as soon as possible. Though this started as a full-length 3D animation project, Soundarya decided to include a 30-minute feature film portion and director KS Ravi Kumar has been roped in to direct this part alone.

Hara is a multilingual film and will be released in four languages – Tamil, Telugu, English and Hindi. Interestingly, Rajini will dub for all the four versions. The film’s heroine Vijayalakshmi and Prakash Raj have also decided to render their own voices, we hear.

Endhiran’ clones ‘Ra. One’

Is the Bollywood Badshah ready with his reply to Super Star’s ‘Robo’? The first look of Shah Rukh Khan’s most ambitious project ‘Ra.One’ is out.

It is interesting to recall the genesis of ‘Endhiran ’ to know Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Ra.One’ better. You all knew director Shankar first went to SRK with the ‘Endhiran ’ concept and when he fell out with SRK over ‘creative differences’ in filming the sci-fi flick, our Super Star stepped in and saved the project. ‘What ‘Endhiran ’ did to Indian cinema is now folklore.

At that time Shah Rukh Khan had announced a similar project and that has taken shape now and ready to hit the marquee this year. Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal play the central characters in the film. Ra.One means ‘Random Access - Version 1.0’.

Much like the ‘Endhiran ’, SRK’s 'Ra.One' is also about Robots behaving like humans and has "breathtaking" visual effects. 'Ra.One' is also about good versus evil. According to sources, Shah Rukh will be seen in a double role in the film. One of his characters is that of a scientist who creates two robots - the good robot G.One (SRK) and the bad one Ra.One (Arjun Rampal).

When ‘Endhiran ’ released last year, the entire Indian film industry was in awe and the Bollywood started talking about ‘Ra.One’. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, ‘Ra.One’ has music by Vishal and Shekhar along with music maestro Ilaiyaraja.

Now that ‘Endhiran’ has spawned the first clone, will it behave better than ‘Endhiran’? Shah Rukh Khan has produced the film himself under his home banner Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Ra.One’ is marked as Diwali release.

KS Ravi Kumar made Rajini wait

Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Hara (earlier titled Sultan – the Warrior) was to have recommenced in December. But this plan was postponed as director KS Ravi Kumar as held up with the Manmadhan Ambu release.

Hara was initially planned as a full-fledged animation movie with Soundarya directing and producing it. But later, there was a change in plan and it was decided to make a part of it as a feature film.

KS Ravi Kumar was approached with the offer to direct Rajini in the feature film portion and the director gladly accepted the offer with the condition that he will be able to do so only after Mamadhan Ambu’s release. With the release of Manmadhan Ambu, Hara’s shooting is expected to commence very soon.
